Esentepe North Cyprus – Breathtaking Beauty!!

Esentepe is located in Northern Cyprus and is one of the neighboring villages of the increasingly popular holiday destination of Kyrenia.  There are few Esentepe hotels but this is changing with the new developments on the horizon. 

Getting to Esentepe is easy, whether you choose to fly or travel by ferry from Turkey the choice is yours.  Ercan International Airport serves Northern Cyprus and from here it is only a short taxi transfer to your accommodation destination.  If you choose to travel by ferry, there are daily ferries available from Turkey that will take you to Kyrenia.  From here again it is only a short taxi ride to Esentepe.

Esentepe is extremely popular with those wishing to invest in property and Esentepe properties are a great investment due to their low cost and the increasing property market.  The newly opened Esentepe Golf Club is another major investment reason and it is anticipated that this spectacular golf course will attract tourist from all over the world.

Esentepe is surrounded by beautiful scenery and because it is nestled in the Kyrenia Mountains, you get mountain breezes to help keep you cool during summer months.  The beaches in Esentepe are excellent and these sandy beaches are a great place to relax during the day.  There are also a variety of shops and restaurants, not to mention a forest which is open for exploration.  Of course like many of the villages and towns in Northern Cyprus, Esentepe does have its own historic buildings to view and these include the domed Antiphontis Church along with many other places to see.

If you are planning on staying in Esentepe, car hire is recommended.  Esentepe car hire is based in Kyrenia and rates are excellent.  If you wish to see the sights and view the spectacular scenery on your own schedule then car hire is the way to go.
